Your Motorcycle Camping Checklist will make sure you take everything needed for your trip. This would not be a good time to find out you left something behind, such as your sleeping bag or a first aid kit. Therefore, even if you think you will remember, get out a piece of paper and a pencil and start planning. Making the list will assure that you remember everything you 'had' planned on taking.
Taking what is needed will also allow your budget to included higher quality items. If you are traveling in a group check with the others. Items that will be used by the group may be divided up and allow you to take more.
The checklist will consist of several pages:
Camping Equipment Checklist
Camping Supply List
Camping Food List
Camping Packing List
Since you are motorcycle camping, your needs will be a little different from others. You will decide if you need a tent or pull a trailer, but also you will need camping equipment, supplies, food, and clothing. Do some research, you may find you can purchase some items specifically designed for motorcycle camping.
Storage will be limited, so the items you take will need to be carefully considered. Small, compact items that will fit in your saddlebags or on your trailer. Prestaging your items before your trip will be very help.
Below are two links that will give you an idea of some of the items on two of these checklists.
