Ham & Cheese Croissant Pockets

Here is one of our favorite breakfast recipes, easily prepared while having that first cup of coffee. Done in a camp oven on a camping stove.

Cook time: 15 minutes


1 package of Danish cooked ham, thinly sliced,
1 1/2 - 2 Shredded cheddar cheese
1 package Pillsbury Croissants(frozen).


1. Cover the racks of the oven in aluminum foil, shiny side up.
2. Chop up ham and mix with shredded cheese in a bowl.
3. Remove the dough, seperating in to triangles and lay out each triangles on a clean, non-stick surface.
3. Place about 2 Tblsp of ham and cheese on triangle.
4. Next pull up corners and pinch dough together.
5. Place in oven
6. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes at 325° F or until golden brown.

If you prefer:
1. Place 2 to 3 Tblsp of ham and cheese mixture on one triangle.
2. Cover with a second triangle.
3. Pinch edges together and bake.

You can do a variation of this recipe with just about any meat and cheese combination.
