Mock Chick Pot Pie


DUTCH OVEN RECIPE

2 Large Chicken Breasts cooked and cubed
2 Large Cans Mixed Vegetables (w/potatoes in it)
1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 Can of 10 Refrigerated Biscuits
Salt, Pepper, Oregano to taste.

Mix chicken, vegetables (including liquid) and both cans of soup in a bowl.

Pour into a dutch oven and cover.

Place on 12 coals and 12 on cover.

Warm, don't boil, over coals approximately 20 minutes.

When warm, place biscuits on top of chicken mixture and cover with coals on lid.

Check after 10 minutes. Cook until biscuits are golden brown. Usually takes about 20 minutes.

Serves 4-6

This is the best chicken pot pie idea I have ever seen, who needs Swansons?

As easy as making it at home. It was chilling out when I made this and really warmed us up inside. I did try it home as suggested.

I will need to sharpen my skills using the charcoal. The biscuts were done a little more than they should have been.
